Here’s the thing. Let’s talk swing/jazz improvisation language: Arpeggios = Chord tones = Sounding good 👍 But how do you make this sound musical? Yes, it’s of the utmost importance to know your chord tones. But there’s so much more. Consider: the melody, swing rhythms, breath, phrasing, and the language.
