When you’re living with a C5-C6 injury, the little things most people never think about, like coughing or sneezing, can become a challenge of their own. With limited diaphragm and core function, I’ve got to lean and move in ways that help me keep my lungs clear and stay healthy. It’s just one of those everyday adaptations that come with a higher-level spinal cord injury.
