Here's what I usually have my patients do with an LMB splint: Start with 30 minutes and build up to 2 hours max during the DAY. THEN make the switch to NIGHTTIME. Why? Because if they're wearing it while using their hand, they're fighting the tension and creating abnormal patterns with it. At night?
