Snowflake shares soared in extended trading Wednesday after the cloud-based data platform provider announced an expanded AI partnership with Amazon and posted better-than-expected results.

The results boosted some popular software stocks. ServiceNow and Oracle added more than 6%, while Palantir jumped over 8%. Microsoft, Palo Alto Networks and Atlassian gained at least 3% each.
