Elon Musk and Sam Altman will face off this week in a trial that pits two titans of artificial intelligence in a showdown over OpenAI’s founding mission—and could have debilitating consequences for its future.

In a post that quickly gained traction online, Musk referred to Altman as “Scam Altman” and OpenAI president Greg Brockman as “Greg Stockman,” accusing the duo of betraying the organisation’s founding principles.
